Hospital Vessel for Lake Victoria

Projects / Hospital Vessel for Lake Victoria

For a Korean/ American client, Sinnautic International has developed a self-propelled floating clinic. This vessel is capable of reaching even the most remote islands in the lake and treat patients that were always forgotten. At anchor close to shore, the patients are ferried from shore to the mother vessel by 2 fast ambulance boats. A medical team from Korea awaits the patients for treatment. The first vessel has been commissioned late 2017 and since then, more than 1,200 patients have received medical care.

The second sister vessel is in the process of construction at the local project site. The fully welded hull is currently awaiting the engine delivery, paint and other equipment from The Netherlands.
